Miss Xtreme 2012

Gwendolyn
Eve Hill

Xtreme Magazine: Congratulations on being named Miss Xtreme 2012! What are you most excited about?

Gwendolyn Eve Hill: Wow, thanks! This is so amazing. I suppose what I’m most excited about is the honor of being on the cover. The model in me is so psyched about that. Every month I pick up a copy of Xtreme and stare at the cover girl with total envy. This month, that’s me!

Xtreme: Where did you grow up and what sort of place was it?

Gwen: I grew up in the Bronx in New York. I didn’t really realize how bad it was there until I moved to Florida when I was 13. There were used condoms, crack vials and broken glass pipes littered [around] the playgrounds where children played. I heard gunshots on a somewhat regular basis and I once caught a man in his car doing you-know-what while staring at me and my friends as we played outside. Florida was much nicer!

Xtreme: What sort of person were you growing up?

Gwen: I was always feisty and had a no-bullshit attitude but I was also very smart and always had my nose in a book. I used to read encyclopedias for entertainment and [would] constantly spout out useless information that I found fascinating. You can imagine that didn’t make me very popular and I did get picked on a lot. Life didn’t really ease up on me until I grew boobs. Hooray for boobies!

Xtreme: Would you have been surprised to hear when you were younger that you’d grow up to be in the adult industry? Why or why not?

Gwen: It’s funny you should ask that because a few years ago my parents and I were watching old home movies from my childhood and there was one part where I literally climbed up on a table and started dancing around in my bathing suit! My dad, of course, had to comment on how prophetic that was. I don’t know if my younger self would be surprised to hear what I do now. I didn’t plan it this way but I’m an artist and a performer and I always have been. It just happens that one of the paths I direct those gifts in is the adult industry. I’ve always been a very sexual and expressive person. This was a very natural path for me to have followed.

Xtreme: How did you start dancing? Were you nervous your first time?

Gwen: I was living in Washington state working as a waitress and when I got fired I was limited while looking for a new job because I didn’t have a car and there really wasn’t much of a transportation system there. I found a job as a waitress in a strip club and was immediately enamored [with] and enchanted by the dancers. I would stare at them on stage with the deepest longing to be one of them but was still too overwhelmed by the scene to jump in. That was until I found out about the weekly waitress contest they held on Wednesdays, the prize being $100. I gathered up my courage and signed up for it but I won’t lie, at the last minute I did almost chicken out and I almost had to be pushed up there. I had total deer in headlights syndrome for a second but once Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” started playing, I heard my song and started dancing. The guys started to cheer and whistle and then everyone was cheering me on, even the other dancers and waitresses. Every single eye was on me and it was my show, everyone watching to see what I would do next. I cannot describe what that felt like and they couldn’t drag me off the stage. I started dancing immediately after that. There was no way I could let myself never feel that again. It was one of the single most empowering moments in my life.

Xtreme: Why do you think you were named Miss Xtreme?

Gwen: I think it was a combination of my photos, my passion for dancing and the fact that my personality really comes through. I was never given an official reason but I’d love to hear one!

Xtreme: What made you get involved with the Miss Xtreme competition?

Gwen: I’m naturally competitive. I’m friendly about it and I’m not a sore loser but I like the feeling of earning something over other qualified competitors. I think being a dancer is more than just dancing or even being the hottest girl in the club and I set out to prove that by entering. I was nervous that not being super young or working in a big club would work against me but it didn’t. I’m very proud of myself!

Xtreme: Where do you dance?

Gwen: I’m currently taking a break from working at clubs to focus on modeling and I also study graphic and web design but I still work private parties.

Xtreme: How long have you danced for?

Gwen: I started dancing exactly twelve years ago. It doesn’t feel like that long and I still love it!

Xtreme: What’s your favorite aspect of dancing? What’s your least favorite aspect of dancing?

Gwen: My favorite aspect is the actual dancing. I love music. I’ve always loved to dance. I belong in the spotlight. It just feels right when I’m on stage. Within a few months after I started I was doing crazy pole tricks and I quickly became known as one of the best dancers in my club. I also love the travel opportunities it brings. I’ve lived in Washington, Florida, New York and even in Guam for three years completely supported by dancing. Other dancers and I would take weekend trips and just dance wherever we were to fund it. I’d love to try New Orleans next. My least favorite is when anyone, whether a patron or employee, takes the joy out of the moment by metaphorically backing me into a corner with their behavior. Insecure dancers can be catty and drunk, and horny guys can be, well, drunk, horny guys. I know it comes with the territory but, hey, you asked!

Xtreme: Do you have a lot of regulars? They probably consider themselves genuine fans of you.

Gwen: I have some, yes and usually when they come to see me they don’t really notice anyone else but the same can be said for most dancers.

Xtreme:  Do people ask you frequently if you would think about doing adult movies? Is that something you’d consider? Why or why not?

Gwen: I’ve been asked a few times. I wouldn’t say frequently, though. I have considered it before and I don’t think it’s for me. This was an issue when I started creating content for my website, whether or not I would have porn on my site, and I still felt that it’s not for me. If I do change my mind it would only be solo or fetish porn with other females.

Xtreme: Have you seen a lot of porn star feature performers? If so, who is one of the best performers that you’ve seen so far?

Gwen: I have seen too many porn star features to count and if I can be honest they generally don’t impress me. Anyone can fuck but not everyone can do what I do. The one who stands out in my memory is someone I recently saw perform when I was dancing at Xpertease a few months ago, RubberDoll. I have not only been a fan of hers forever and it was such an honor to meet such a sweet person but she truly puts on a show. That girl is a performer. She didn’t get hammered and fall all over herself, her costumes were meticulous and her performances were carefully choreographed. My face looked like a 100 watt bulb while I watched her and she even pulled me up on stage for a lap dance and a spanking!  I don’t think anyone will ever outdo her in my eyes.

Xtreme: What are your goals for your career in the future? Where do you think you’ll be in the next five or ten years?

Gwen: My career as a fetish model is steadily moving forward and I’m really fascinated with digital art. I know when I’m all done performing in the adult industry I will be involved behind the scenes doing photography, graphic design, web design and running an adult site most likely. I love websites like zivity.com (which I model on) and could definitely see myself creating and running a website like that in the future. This is more of a transition or process than something I can put a time frame on so I don’t know exactly where I’ll be in 5 or 10 years but it will be somewhere in that direction. I also am determined to own my own strip club one day so I can take everything that I think was awesome about all the clubs I’ve ever worked at and make the best club ever!

Xtreme: That’s a fantastic idea. Well, thank you so much for chatting with me. It’s been an honor to speak with Miss Xtreme 2012!
